Into the WD archive

I have a nice collection of White Dwarf. My first copy of the magazine was 144 (if I remember correctly) with memorable articles on McVey's wood elves cavalry and a Dark Elf army by an American painter. Since then I have managed to get hold of a few older issues. Classic stuff!

  1. Funny that some of the older magazines look newer;-)

  2. Yeah, looking at the picture I realize how much the 144 issue has been read and reread wearing the cover. And that simply because I did not have other magazines to look in for painting advice, inspiration, and such back then. I have been through that issue SO MANY times.

  3. Nice one! I'm always on the hunt for WDs from that era (in the picture), too. So much wonderful content and artwork in them... endless inspiration.

  4. The 90s were a great load of issues then post size reduction there's a cracking run with the Eldar background, Marienburg etc. Because of the WFRP stuff the issues I'm most likely to reference back to.
